Philips i966 Aurora With 5.5 Quad HD Display, YunOS 3.0, 20.7MP Camera Announced For US $600

Philips has unveiled the company’s latest flagship smartphone – Philips i966 Aurora in China at a price tag of 3699 Chinese Yuan (~US $600). It comes in Black color.

On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Quad-HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it has 2.5D arc glass. It has slim bezels with 63.8% screen-to-body ratio and protected by Corning gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on YunOS 3.0 based on Android and it has 32GB in-built memory.

On the imaging front, it features 20.7-megapixel camera Sony IMX220 EXMOR RS sensor with 6-element lens, f/1.8 aperture and 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It has connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 & GPS.

It packs 3,000mAh battery.

It has fingerprint sensor on the back & it works even with wet hands.
