Panasonic has launched the company’s latest budget smartphone – Panasonic T40 in India at a price tag of Rs. 5,990. It comes in Bright Red, Dark Grey and White colors.

On the specifications front, it features 4-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & GPS.
It packs 1500mAh battery.
It comes with pre-loaded with range of new software features including, Gesture Play+, a draw-to-unlock gesture based feature, Pop-i Player, a video player with multitasking capabilities and more.
