OPPO has announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone – OPPO R9s & OPPO R9s Plus at a price tag of 2799 Yuan & 3499 Yuan respectively. Both the smartphone comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Black colours. The OPPO R9s available for order in China & it goes on sale starting from October 28th, 2016. The OPPO R9s Plus available in December 2016 and OPPO said that, it will be available soon in Singapore, Australia & Taiwan. Both the smartphone have unibody metal design, fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button & comes with VOOC flash charge which offer 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charge.
On the specifications front, the OPPO R9S features 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which is paired with Adreno 506 GPU & 4GB RAM. it runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and has 64GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the OPPO R9s features 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8″ sensor, 6P lens, EIS, LED Flash, 4K video recording and 16MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens for selfie & video-calling.
It has Hybrid Dual SIM card slot and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
The Oppo R9s measures at 153×74.3×6.58mm and weighs 145 grams.
The Oppo R9s packs 3010mAh battery and comes with VOOC fast charging technology.
