OPPO R17 Launched; Specifications, Price, Colour Options And More

Along with OPPO R17 Pro, OPPO has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the R-series – OPPO R17 in India at a price tag of Rs. 34,990. The smartphone comes in Twilight Blue and Starry Purple colours and there is no word on the availability.

On the specifications front, the OPPO R17 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, a notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor which is paired with Adreno 615 GPU & 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2 on top of it and has 128GB internal storage.

On the camera side, OPPO R17 has dual-camera setup – 16-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots and AI scene recognition. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel AI front camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI, Sony IMX576 sensor, 3D Portrait for selfie & video-calling.

The smartphone comes with gradient glass back, metal frame on the back and in-display fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.41 seconds

The OPPO R17 has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C.

The OPPO R17 packs 3500mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge technology.
