Oppo has launched the Neo 3 (R831K) budget smartphone in India at an initial price tag of Rs. 10,990. It is an upgraded version of the Oppo Neo R831 and it is available through retail partner Flipkart as well as retail stores across the country. The Oppo Neo that was launched back in February for Rs. 11,990 now retails for Rs. 9,990. The main difference in the Neo 3 compared to Neo is 1GB RAM.
On the specifications front, it has 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS sensitive touch screen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with ColorOS on top and has 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD.
On the imaging front, it ha 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone that comes with connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, OTG, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 2.1.
It measures 132 x 65.8 x 9.2 mm and weighs 128.5 grams.
The smartphone packs a 1900mAh battery.
It has Quick Reach Mode, that lets you draw a pattern on the screen and double tap on the display to launch apps and Gesture panel to customize patterns.
