OPPO has launched the updated version of A83 selfie-centric smartphone and the updated version – OPPO A83 (2018) comes with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage while all other specifications remain same. The company launched the OPPO A83 at a price tag of Rs. 13,990 back in January while the OPPO A83 (2018) that was launched today cost Rs. 15,990. The OPPO A83 (2018) comes in Red, Blue & Golden colors and it will be available on Amazon.in, Flipkart, and Paytm online as well as offline stores across the country.

On the specifications front, the OPPO A83 (2018) features 5.7-inch 18:9 HD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and it is powered by MediaTek Helio P23 processor which is paired with Mali G71 MP2 GPU & 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 with Color OS 3.2 on top of it and has 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256 via microSD card.

On the photography side, the OPPO A83 (2018) features 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with support for A.I. beauty technology that can scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly as well as face unlock to unlock the phone quickly.
