Finally, OnePlus putting end to all rumours as they about to unveil their flagship smartphone OnePlus 5 on June 20th, 2017. Like earlier, the company has scheduled a separate launch event in India on June 22nd, 2017. Just like the earlier launches, the OnePlus 5 launch event will be streamed online through the company’s website.
The OnePlus 5 India launch event takes place at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) Dome in Worli, Mumbai and starts at 2:00 P.M. In addition to this, the company also giving away 5 OnePlus 5 phones for those who set up SMS alert (from today to June 20th) to watch the OnePlus 5 launch live.
If we believe in past rumours, the OnePlus 5 features 5.5-inch Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display with large front camera sensor on the front. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor which is paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and has 128GB internal memory.
The smartphone features a 23-megapixel dual rear camera with LED flash and to enhance the camera, the company teamed up wth DxO. On the front, there is the 16-megapixel front camera for selfies & video-calling.
The smartphone is touted as the thinnest flagship and fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
Like OnePlus 3/OnePlus 3T, it is expected that OnePlus 5 comes with Hybrid SIM card slot and necessary connectivity features.
The OnePlus 5 packs 3,300mAh battery with improved dash charging.
