Obi Mobile has which is now known as Obi Worldphone has introduced two new smartphones – Obi Worldphone SF1 & Obi Worldphone SJ1.5. Obi Mobiles is backed by John Scully and these smartphone will be available starting in October and will be first rolled out in growing markets such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, South Africa, Pakistan, Turkey and India, and will be available in 50 to 70 high-growth countries by 2017. The Obi Worldphone SF1 is priced at US $199 for 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory and US $249 for 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory. The Obi Worldphone SJ1.5 costs US $129. Bothe the smartphones are designed by San Francisco based product studio Ammunition.
On the specifications front Obi Worldphone SF1 features 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has oleophobic coating and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU and it runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Obi’s own UI on top of it. It comes in two variant – 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory & 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB by using microSD card. It has 13MP rear-camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling. It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual-Band), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / GLONASS. It has fiberglass body and metal accents at the top and bottom of the phone. It also features Dolby Audio that promises powerful and crystal-clear surround sound though the speakers and with headphones.

It has oleophobic coating and powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 processor which is paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB by using microSD card. It has asymmetrical design with squared-off top and a curved bottom.
Both the smartphone comes pre-loaded with AVG AntiVirus Pro for Android, SwiftKey, Accu Weather, Clean Master and ColorNote.
