Nokia announced the latest flagship smartphone, the Lumia 930 earlier this week at the Microsoft Build 2014 conference and it comes with latest Windows Phone 8.1 software. In this post we are comparing Nokia Lumia 930 and Nokia Lumia 1020 and if you do not know, Nokia Lumia 930 features a 5-inch 1080p Full HD, ClearBlack screen display (1920×1080; 441ppi) and a 20-megapixel PureView camera with a Zeiss lens and a dual-LED flash.
Design
The Nokia Lumia 930 measures 137 x 71 x 9.8 mm and weighs 167 gram whereas the Nokia Lumia 1020 measures 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm and weighs 158 gram. The Nokia Lumia 930 is heavier and larger than Nokia Lumia 1020.
Display
The Nokia Lumia 930 features a 5.0-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels whereas the Nokia Lumia 1020 features a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels
Processor
The Nokia Lumia 930 powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor whereas the Nokia Lumia 1020 powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor
Operating System
The Nokia Lumia 930 comes with latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system including Lumia Cyan update whereas the Nokia Lumia comes with Windows Phone 8 operating system and Nokia says the Lumia Cyan update will be rolled out later this year. Lumia Cyan update includes a unified camera app, the Activity Centre pull-down menu and notification area, an extra row of live tiles on the start screen, Cortana voice-controlled personal assistant, Word Flow for Swype-style typing and 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus audio recording.
Memory
Both devices comes with 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage with no option of expandable memory and a 7GB of OneDrive space.
Camera
The Nokia Lumia 930 has a 20-megapixel rear-camera whereas the Nokia Lumia 1020 has a massive 41-megapixel rear-camera. Both are PureView smart camera and has optical image stabilisation & dual LED flash plus plenty of manual controls. The Nokia Lumia 930 offers better camera software as it comes with built-in Refocus and Cinemagraph app into the Nokia Camera app.

According to the specifications, the Nokia Lumia 930 is way better than Nokia Lumia 1020 as it comes with Full HD screen, Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, latest Windows Phone 8.1 software and beautiful design. If you like to click pictures on mobile phone, then it is much better and after receiving Lumia Cyan Update, major improvements will be seen.
