Nokia Lumia 625 is official now. Nokia has announced the Nokia Lumia 625 smartphone. Lumia 625 features 4.7-inch screen that makes it the largest Lumia yet and includes 4G LTE connectivity. Nokia Lumia 625 is a large screen budget Windows Phone 8 device.
It comes with a 4.7-inch Gorilla Glass 2 800 x 480 IPS LCD display with WVGA resolution (480 x 800, 201ppi). The rest of the specifications are in line with what was leaked earlier. It packs a 1.2-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and 512MB RAM, as well as a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera. It offers 8GB internal storage, that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The phone measures 133.3 x 72.3 x 9.3mm and weighs 159g.
Nokia Lumia 625 runs on Windows Phone 8 with Nokia Amber update and powered by a 2,000mAh battery that promises over 15 hours of battery life.
On the connectivity side, it offers HSPA+ and 4G LTE support along with Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE and GPS + GLONASS for positioning.
The Lumia 625 will come in a range of colours including orange, yellow, bright green, white and black with an array of semitransparent changeable shells to easily switch colors just like the 620.
Nokia Lumia 625 will be available in China, Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America in Q3 2013. In the UK, the Lumia 625 is expected in September, the price will be €220 before taxes and subsidies.
