Motorola has announced the company’s latest smartphone – Motorola X Force with Moto ShatterShleld at a price tag of £499 (US$ 764 / Rs. 49,932 approx.) for the 32GB version and £534 ( US$ 818 / Rs. 53,434 approx.) for the 64GB model. it comes in Black Ballistic Nylon finish and it has an optional Moto Maker customizationd depending on the market. it will be rolled out in Latin America, EMEA and APAC regions starting in November 2015 and it will be launched in UK starting mid-November.
On the specifications front, it feature s5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels at 540 ppi and protected by Moto Shattershield. It is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor which is paired with Adreno 430 GPU & 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 32GB/64GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 21MP rear-camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video-recording and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has 4G LTE connectivity with support for range of LTE Bands (B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 20, 25, 28, 40). Other connectivity features are 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC.
It packs 3760mAh battery with Turbo charging, PMA and Qi wireless charging
Motorola says that the display is guaranteed not to crack or shatter for up to 4 years.
