Microsoft Devices has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,199. It is the first smartphone which comes with Microsoft Lumia brand and it will go on sale starting November 28th. It comes in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey and black colors.
Commenting on the launch, Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman, Microsoft India, said,

Speaking at the launch, Ajey Mehta, Managing Director, Nokia India Sales Pvt. Ltd. (A subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile Oy) said,

Younger tech-involved audiences are increasingly looking at an uncompromised experience on their smartphones. With access to the best services right out of the box at a price they can afford, we believe the Lumia 535 is an ideal solution to offer young India.”
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-ore Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim update and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone and has connectivity features like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS/aGPS.
It packs 1905mAh battery.
