Micromax has launched the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Canvas Series – Micromax Canvas Spark 2 in India at a price tag of Rs. 3,999. it comes in Black colour and it will be available exclusively on Snapdeal starting September 30th, 2015 at 12 noon in flash slash model. Registrations for the sale will start from September 23rd, 2015 at 10 A.M. As a promotional offer, it comes with set of accessories which includes charger, data cable, earphones & screen protector.

The Canvas Spark proved to be a huge success for Micromax, selling over half a million units in less than two months of its launch. Currently, smartphone penetration stands at 12% in the country and 3G adoption is also barely 10%, which presents a huge opportunity to upgrade. On the specifications front, it features 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB by microSD card and there is no word on the RAM.
On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel rear fixed-focus camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 1800mAh battery.
It comes pre-loaded with Firstouch language solution, Scandid, Kindle, Hotstar, Clean Master, Swiftkey, Snapdeal and more apps.
According to Micromax, Canvas Spark 2 is the most affordable 5-inch 3G smartphone running Android Lollipop in the Indian market.
