The Micromax Canvas Knight A350 that was launched earlier this year with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is in news again, but this time with the Android KitKat update. The Micromax Canvas Knight A350 now runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box, according to the official listing on company website. Although there is no word if the existing units of the smartphone will be getting the latest OS update or not. The update will bring lots of improvements that comes with standard Android version.
The news comes from Micromax’s official Google+ and Facebook posts, which boldly state,
“With the Integrated Voice Search feature of Android Kitkat OS in Canvas Knight, you can search the web just by saying ‘Okay Google’!”
Micromax Canvas Knight A350 is inspired by iPhone and it features a 5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is powered by 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek 6592T processor which is coupled with Mali 450 GPU. It has 2GB on-board DDR2 RAM and 32GB in-built storage out of which only 25GB user accessible. There is no microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, it features an impressive 16-megapixel rear-camera with autofocus, LED flash, 1080p video recording capabilities and 8MP front-facing camera for selfie & video calling.
It has dual SIM support and has usual connectivity features like 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. A350 comes with magnetic, light, gyro, accelerometer and proximity sensors. It packs 2,350mAh battery which gives a talk-time of up to 7.5 hours.
