Micromax has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the Fire series- Micromax Canvas Fire 5 in India at a price tag of Rs. 6,199. It comes in Champagne, Grey & Silver colour and it comes with 6 months free premium Gaana subscription for unlimited song downloads. It comes with dual front-facing speakers and has Auro 3D sound which promises loud and clear sound.
Commenting on the launch, Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics said:

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow 6.0 operating system and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8MP auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 2500mAh battery.
