Meizu has launched the company’s latest and second smartphone that runs on Ubuntu – Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition in China at a price tag of 1799 Yuan. It comes in white or gold colour and it is available on official website of Meizu in China. In addition to this, the Ubuntu Edition of Meizu MX4 will be soon available in Europe. All the specifications are same when compared with Android version.
On the specifications front, it features 5.36-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1152 pixels at 15:9 aspect ratio and it is powered by 2.1GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595 processor which is paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU & 2GB of DDR3RAM. It runs on Ubuntu Touch OS and has 16GB/32GB/64GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 20.7-megapixel rear-camera with dual tone LED flash and 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE (TD-LTE / LTE-FDD), 3G HSPA+ , WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / GLONASS
It packs 3100mAh removable battery.
