Huawei under its Honor brand has launched the – Honor 5C smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 10,999. In the price segment Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000, there are number of smartphone that are far better when compared in terms of specifications & pricing. In previous post, Honor 5C is compared with LeEco Le 2 and Xioami Redmi Note 3. In both comparisons, Honor 5C doesn’t stand up against their competitor ones and in today’s post I’m comparing it with Meizu M3 Note in terms of specifications & pricing. Meizu M3 Note is much cheaper when compared to Huawei Honor 5C, Meizu M3 Note costs Rs. 9,999.
Display
The Meizu M3 Note features 5.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD 2.5D curved display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by scratch resistant glass. The Huawei Honor 5C features 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels. When it comes to display side, Meizu M3 Note is the winner as it features bigger and better display. Apart from this screen on Huawei Honor 5C is not bright enough and colours are bit dull. if you use your phone for watching lot of videos or spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun, you might put yourself in problem.

LeEco Le 2 vs Huawei Honor 5C
Processor
The Meizu M3 Note is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 processor which is paired withMali-T860MP2 GPU. The Huawei Honor 5C is powered by Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 650 processor which is paired with Mali-T880MP2. On AnTuTu, the Meizu M3 Note scores 51,000 while the Huawei Honor 5C scores nearly 52,000, there’s no significant gap. You can find number of devices running MediaTek Helio P10 while the Kirin processor runs on Huawei Honor devices, so not sure how it performs.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 vs Huawei Honor 5C
Operating System
The Meizu M3 Note runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme OS 5.1 on top of it while the Huawei Honor 5C runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Emotion UI V4.1 on top of it. If you look at the operating system, you see that Huawei Honor 5C has the latest Android operating system while the Meizu M3 Note doesn’t have & still runs on older Android version. But when you see the number of features offered by Android 6.0 on Huawei Honor 5C are already present on the Meizu M3 Note. So, as a user you can go for Meizu M3 Note and enjoy the number of features on your smartphone. Above all, the Flyme OS V5.1 comes with lots of features (will share it in different blog post).

The Meizu M3 Note has 3GBRAM with 32GB storage (eMMC 5.1) which can be expandable further up to 128GB with microSD while the Huawei Honor 5C has 2GB RAM & 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128 via microSD card. The Meizu M3 Note has bigger RAM & more in-built memory when compared to the Huawei Honor 5C.

The Meizu M3 Note features 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens and 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens. The Huawei Honor 5C features 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, touch focus and auto focus, and an 8MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture. The images clicked via Meizu M3 Note has better details when compared with the Huawei Honor 5C. Apart from this, when you compare the selfies, then you find that Meizu M3 Note has better image quality compared to Huawei Honor 5C.

The Meizu M3 Note has connectivity features like 4G LTE with voLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS while the Huawei Honor 5C has connectivity features like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS.

The Meizu M3 Note packs 4100mAh battery while the Huawei Honor 5C has 3,000mAh battery. After using both the smartphone, I highly recommend you to go for Meizu M3 Note as it lasts longer when compared to Huawei Honor 5C.
