LG has launched the company’s latest flagship smartphone – LG G6 in India at a price tag of Rs. 51,990. The smartphone comes in Astro Black, Ice Platinum & Mystic White colors and the smartphone available from tomorrow, April 25th, 2017 on Amazon.in & from offline stores. As LG India is celebrating 20 years in India, they are offering Rs. 10,000 as cashback via Amazon.in. Originally, the smartphone was introduced at MWC 2017 back in February and it is the successor of last year LG G5.
Launch Offers:
The smartphone comes with a number of launch offers like who pre-order the LG G6 will get cashback of up to Rs. 7000, and it includes a Rs. 2,000 cashback for LG 6 pre-bookings, and a separate cashback of Rs. 5,000, offer lasts till May 31st, 2017. In addition to this, those who purchase the smartphone via Amazon.in, you get Rs. 10,000 cashback, the offer is only available for Tuesday, April 25th, 2017. The cashback is only for HDFC & SBI credit cardholders.
The LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset cost Rs. 9,990 and the company offer 50 percent when you buy it along with LG G6 smartphone, which means you get the wireless headset for only Rs. 4,995. This offer is valid until May 31st, 2017.
The LG G6 users will get additional 10GB 4G data extra on every recharge of Rs. 309, which means an additional 100GB till March 2018.

Display, Processor, Memory, and Operating System:
On the specifications front, the smartphone features 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels at 564 PPI and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 while the rear is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. LG calls the display as “Full Vision Display” as it comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9 which means it is exactly twice as it is wide and has 80.7% screen-to-body ratio. Like other LG smartphone, the LG G6 comes with “Always On” display technology. The LG G6 comes with Dolby Vision technology. The smartphone is powered by Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & 4GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with LG UX 6.0 on top of it and it has 32GB/64GB internal memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
Camera:
On the photography front, the smartphone has 13MP dual-rear cameras with dual-tone LED flashlight, OIS 2.0, 4K video recording and secondary rear-camera with the 125-degree lens. There is 5MP front-camera with 100-degree wide-angle lens for selfie & video-calling. There are four shots enabled by the camera which includes the Snap Shot, Match Shot, Grid Shot and Guide Shot. All these makes LG G6 camera world’s first square camera and makes it easier to post the images on social media without the need for resizing.
SIM Support, and Connectivity:
The smartphone has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible).

The smartphone measures 148.9×71.9×7.9mm and weighs in at 163 grams.

The smartphone features 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to Analog converter) for enhanced audio playback, apart from this, it has Hi-Fi Audio Recorder. It is the first smartphone that features Dolby Vision technology and supports HDR 10.
The LG G6 smartphone comes with fingerprint sensor at the back and has support for Google Assistant.
The LG G6 flaunts a unibody metal design and has rounded corners with chamfered edges.
