In an event in NCR, LG has officially launched the company’s flagship smartphone – LG G5 modular smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs. 52,990. It comes in Silver, Titan & Gold colours and will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart and also available through retail stores. It comes with free Battery & Charing Cradle worth of Rs. 3,499 for a limited period. The LG 360 CAM cost Rs. 21,490 and the LG 360 VR costs Rs. 21,990. LG started taking pre-orders for the smartphone from May 21st exclusively on Flipkart and also offered a free LG Cam Plus companion device worth Rs. 6500 for the orders.

On the specifications front, LG G5 features 5.3-inch Quad HD Quantum always-on display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 82064-bit processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with LG UX on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
On the imagining front, it features 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS 2.0, Laser auto focus, and a secondary 8-megapixel rear camera with 135-degree wide angle lens. It has 8MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C.
It packs 2800mAh (removable) battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
