LG has officially announced the mid-range smartphone – LG G Pro Lite smartphone and sooner it will be available in Latin America this month & will be released in India, Russia and other Asian countries. LG G Pro Lite features a 5.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, microSD card slot and runs on Android 4.1. It has a Stylus Pen for handwriting that can be stored conveniently in a slot. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It pack a 3140 mAh battery similar to the G Pro.
According to a Press release,
“With LG G Pro Lite, we are introducing a competitive device to the masses in the growing large smartphone market,” said Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “The market for smartphones with displays over five inches will continue to grow and LG is in a great position to capture these new customers when they’re ready to move up from their current phones.”
LG G Pro Lite comes with FM Radio, the usual connectivity options and few software enhancements on the phone like KnockOn, which allows users to awake the device with two taps on the screen, Pause and Resume recording, and QTranslator. LG also working on to release dual-SIM variant of G Pro Lite, which will be known as LG G Pro Lite dual.
