Lenovo has launched the company’s latest flagship smartphone – Lenovo Z2 Plus in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 17,999. It comes in Black & White colour and it will be available exclusively from Amazon.in starting from September 25th, 2016 midnight. The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes in two variant – 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory costs Rs. 17,999 while the 4GB RAM with 64GB in-built memory costs Rs. 19,999. Originally, it was introduced as Zuk Z2 that was launched in China earlier this year. Lenovo is also offering accessories with Z2 Plus – Chrono Case cost Rs. 1,299, Skullcandy Ando earphones costs Rs. 1,299 and Stealth Case worth Rs. 699. At such a price tag, it will compete with Xiaomi Mi 5, Asus Zenfone 3, OnePlus 3 and few more.
On the specifications, Lenovo Z2 Plus features 5-inch Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It comes in two variant – 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory and other variant 4GB RAM with 64GB in-built memory.

On the photography front, the Lenovo Z2 Plus features 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/ 2.2, 5P lens, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, CAF dual-mode focus, EIS and 8MP front-facing camera with 1.4μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 78.9-degree wide viewing angle for selfie & video-calling.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes with dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-C.
It packs 3500mAh battery with dual fast charing and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 that can charge your smartphone up to 80% in 1 hour. The battery features intelligent cut-off feature which ensure that, it does not overcharge.
The body of the smartphone is made from fiberglass material and according to Lenovo, it is stronger & lighter than metal. It also boasts internal heat conduction technology which prevent device from overheating.
It comes with U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button which unlock your phone in under 0.1 seconds and it works when your finger is wet. The fingerprint sensor is claimed to deliver 99.7 percent accuracy and it gets better with time with its self-learing module.
The smartphone comes preloaded with company’s new U-Health app and it has been developed by the Zuk team. It can track data for steps, distance, running and other physical activities. The Z2 Plus preloaded with Google Now Launcher.
