Lava has launched the company’s latest smartphone with VoLTE support in A-series – Lava A97 in India at a price tag of Rs. 5,949. It comes in Gold, Grey and Blue colours and will be available across all retails stores & multi-brand outlets. The company also announced that consumers will get 1 year free screen replacement for purchase of smartphone within the offer period – September 15th, 2016 to November 15th, 2016. The Lava A97 supports 12 Indian languages and comes with “Transliterate Feature” which helps users in easy translation of English language to their selected languages& vice-versa. At such a price tag, it will compete with Alcatel Pixi 4, Reliance Digital LYF Flame 6, Intex Aqua Ring.
On the specifications front, the Lava A97 features 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and it has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
