In earlier post I shared that Jabra has announced the new Bluetooth headsets – Jabra Pro 935 in India at an initial price of INR 17,462. Last week I got the review unit and after using it, for more than a week I’m sharing the review of the Bluetooth headsets. It supports 2G4 wireless technology which means you can deploy number of wireless headsets in limited space. it is monaural wireless USB headset and they are designed keeping in mind that it can easily used in high density environments. The Jabra Pro 935 can be worn with a headband, behind the neck, or with an ear hook that gently and comfortably hold the received to the ear. With a choice of three different wearing styles – over-the-head, behind the neck or with an ear hook, the Jabra Pro 935 is an affordable and reliable office solution.
At a first glance, the Jabra Pro 935 impressed me and they are not like any ordinary wireless headset I have seen yet. The design of the headset & base is eye-catching and with sturdy structure it adds value to your workplace. It has great wireless functions and the audio clarity.
While setting up the review unit, at first I thought how to setup it up and it took time for me to figure out how the headband coupled with the actual headset. It fulfills its Plug and Play promise quite well and after plugging it on the USB port on the PC, taking calls through softphone apps or unified communications solutions, like Microsoft Lync, Avaya or Skype was pleasant. You can buy an earhook or neckband accessory separately.
It has a pretty awesome range of about 300 feet from where the base is located and its Bluetooth functionality was mind-blowing, as the call remained crystal clear. The best thing I like about Jabra Pro 935 is that, it has a minimal design, robust features, offers noise cancelling functionality that removes the background noise as you talk and your caller only hear your voice only. It has fully rotatable microphone boom so that you can wear the headset on either ear and all the mute and volume control features accessible on the ear piece of the headset.
Its Auto Pairing capability allows the headset to pair with any Bluetooth device including your smartphone, PC or tablet and can be used both in and out of the office. It offers talk time of up to 12 hours and has 7 days of standby time, without recharging up to 2 days.
Apart from such advantages and great features, thee are few limitations with Jabra Pro 935 as it can’t be used with your landline desk phone, can’t be used for conference calls.
Overall, it is a great product which offers exciting features and plays a key role on providing communication solutions & wireless environments addressing processes which includes customer care, business development, sales & marketing.
