Intex has launched the company’s first smartphone – Intex Cloud FX, in India at an initial price tag of Rs. 1,999. It runs on Firefox OS and comes in Black & White colours. It is exclusively available on Snapdeal.

On the specifications front, it has 3.5-inch HVGA screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and it is powered by a 1GHz Spectrum S6281 processor which is paired with 128MB of RAM. It runs on Mozilla OS and has in-built memory of 256MB which can be expanded further up to 4GB via microSD card. The Firefox OS is based on HTML5, has adaptive App Search or the Single Window Search and comes pre-loaded with Facebook, Twitter and more apps. It also has Firefox marketplace to download more apps.
On the imaging front, it has 2-megapixel rear-camera.
It weighs 104 grams and has dimensions of 115.9 x 62.0 x 11.8mm.
It comes with dual SIM support and has connectivity options like 2G (EDGE), GPRS, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
It packs 1250mAh battery and deliver 4 hours of talk time & a standby time of 200 hours.
It comes with 1GB of free data from Aircel per month for three months. Aircel subscribers can SMS ‘INTEX’ to 121 to avail the offer. The device also supports several Indian languages including Hindi and Tamil.
