Huawei silently unveiled the company’s latest budget smartphone – Huawei P8lite at a price tag of US $276 (249 Euros). It is a budget variant of the Huawei P8 smartphone, which was unveiled at an event in London earlier this month. It comes in Black, White and Gold colours and it will go on sale in Germany starting mid-May. The phone has a unibody design which is quite similar to Huawei P8.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz Octa-Core Kirin 620 64-bit processor which is paired with Mali 450 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 on top of it and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and the second SIM card slot can also be used for microSD card expansion. It has connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & NFC.
It packs 2,200mAh battery.
