HTC has announced the company’s latest smartphone – HTC One S9 in Germany at a price tag of 499 Euros (US$563). It comes in Gold, Gunmetal Grey & Silver colour and will be available for purchase in Germany starting from mid-May. When compared, it has a similar design as of the HTC M9S that was introduced last year in China.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 Octa-Core 64-bit processor which is paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with HC Sense UI on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear-camera with dual LED flash, OIS, 4K video-recording and it has Ultrapbixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS, NFC.
It packs 2840mAh battery.
It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers and Dolby Audio. It has unibody metal build and brushed metal body.
