HTC has announced the company’s latest & first One A series smartphone – HTC One A9. It comes in Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet colour and will be roll out globally starting from the first week of November. There is no word on the pricing and it will be announced locally during the launch. Above all, HTC also sell the unlocked version of the smartphone in the US & will let you to unlock the boot-loader without breaking the warranty. Apart from this, HTC also offers 6 months of free Google Music subscription with the unlock version and it will be covered by UH OH Protection which lets you to replace the phone if it is damaged in the first 365 days & that without asking any questions.

On the specifications front, it features 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-Core 617 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU & runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with HTC Sense UI on top of it. It comes in two variant – 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory while the other variant is 3GB RAM with 32GB in-buitl memory, the memory can be expanded further up to 2TB on both variant by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, BSI Sensor, OIS, PDAF and Ultrapbixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
it packs 2150mAh battery with Quick Charge 30.
According to HTC, the unlocked version will get Android updates within 15 days, it sonly when Google pushes out the update for the Nexus devices. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button has powerful speakers on the bottom with 192kHz / 24bit studio-quality audio.
