HTC has announced the company’s latest smartphone – HTC Desire EYE in India at the Double Exposure event in Mumbai. It comes in Matt White & Submarine Blue colours and the pricing would be revealed prior to launch. It will be available exclusively on Amazon and would go on sale in the month of November. Originally, it was unveiled earlier this month in New York.

On the specifications front, it features 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and screen is protected by Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with new HTC Sense 6.0 UI and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with dual LED flash and a 13-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture, wide-angle lens and dual LED flash. It comes with dedicated two-step camera key for focus, and capture for comfortable one-handed captures, new HTC EYE Experience and Zoe 1.0.
It has dual front-facing stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and has water-resistant unibody design.
On the connectivity front, it come with 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, NFC and GPS with GLONASS.
It packs 2400mAh battery.
