HTC has launched the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Desire series – HTC Desire 828 in China at a price tag of 1,599 Yuan (US $252). It comes in White Pearl and Phantom Grey colours and it is available through official HTC eShop and goes on sale in country later this month. It is the successor of HTC Desire 826 dual SIM that was launched in India recently.
On the specifications, it features 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor which is paired with Mali-T760 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top of it and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB with microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED Flash, OIS, BSI sensor and Ultrapbixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE Cat.4 / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / A-GPS + GLONASS.
It packs 2800mAh battery.
