HTC has launched the company’s latest smartphone – HTC Desire 825 in a fresh design in India at a price tag of Rs. 18,990. It comes in Golden Graphite & Sprinkle White colour and it has new design & focuses on entertainment. It will be available for purchase starting from June through HTC.com as well as other online & offline retailers. The HTC Desire 825 features a very interesting design and at the back it comes with a micro splash on its polycarbonate body. The basic shape and aesthetics are quite similar to the earlier HTC devices but the new paint job and colours bring in a fresh appeal.
Commenting on the launch, Chialin Chang, President of Sales, HTC, said:

So today we’re launching the most unique Desire devices yet.”
On the specifications front, HTC Desire 825 features 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 1.6GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system HTC Sense UI on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further upto 2TB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear-camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS
It packs 2700mAh battery.
The device also features HTC’s signature BoomSound speakers at the front for a superior acoustic experience and also have Hi-Res Audio and Dolby certification for better in-ear listening.
