HTC has launched the company’s latest mid-range smartphone – HTC Desire 820 in India at a price tag of Rs. 24,990. Both smartphone comes in range of colours and available from November 5th.
At the launch, Chia-Lin Chang, President of Global Sales and Chief Financial Officer, HTC, said,

On the specifications front, both smartphone features 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with HTC Sense 6 UI on top and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB by using microSD card. It will get Android L update too.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It features dual-front-facing BoomSound speakers with built-in amplifiers. It is 7.74mm thick and weighs 155 grams.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX and GPS.
