HTC has launched the company’s latest phablet – HTC Desire 816 in India at an initial price of INR 23,990 and it is available in Black, White, Red, Green and Purple colours & would go on sale in first week of May. It is a mid-range phone and earlier it was announced at the MWC 2014. It features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0 on top, 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. It comes with 13-megapixel rear-camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs 2600mAh battery and has dual-front-facing BoomSound speakers and comes with dual SIM support & has usual connecitivity options.
