HTC has launched the company’s latest mid-range Android smartphone – HTC Desire 516C in India at a price tag of Rs. 12,999. It is exclusively available from Snapdeal starting October 18th. If you do not know, it is the dual-SIM (CDMA + GSM) variant of the Desire 516 that was launched back in June.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch qHD capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor which is paired 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android KitKat with sense UI on top and has 4GB of in-built memory which can be increased further up to 64GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G EVDO Rev.A + 2G EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
It packs 1950mAh battery.
