HP has launched the HP 8 1401 tablet in U.S. at an initial price of $169.99 and it is available in the U.S from the Official HP Online Store. It is available in Silver colour with a metallic finish and features a 7.85-inch IPS multitouch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels , powered by a quad-core Allwinner A31s processor, runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD card slot. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It packs 3800mAh battery which the company claims would last for 7 hours and it has connectivity options like Wi-Fi. It is the affordable tablet and it comes with 25GB of free cloud storage from Box and HP ePrint. It has stereo speakers and Kingsoft Office to access, edit and share files, HP Connected Photo powered by Snapfish.
