Huawei under its Honor brand has launched the company latest smartphone – Honor Note 8 in China at a starting price tag of 2299 Yuan. It comes in Gold, Silver & Gray colours and will be available through for order via Vmall & JD.com starting today & it goes on sale from August 9th, 2016. It comes in 3 variants – 32GB variant costs 2299 yuan, 64GB variant costs 2499 yuan and the 128GB variant costs 2799 yuan.
On the specifications, it features 6.6-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 955 processor which is paired Mali T880-MP4 GPU & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EMUI 4.1 on top and it has 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, RGBW Sensor, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C.
It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back, has a metal unibody design and is just 7.18mm thick.
