Google has partnered with Spice Global to launch dedicated Android experience stores in India branded as Androidland. Right now, there are only two stores – one in Koramangala, Bangalore and one in The Great India Place, Noida. The Bangalore store is the larger one, at 2300 square feet, while the Noida store is 900 square feet.
Talking about the launch, Mr. Dilip Modi, Co-Founder & Group CEO for Spice Global said,

We have created a destination for customers to experience Android technology and learn about what they can do with mobile Internet. We have seen rapid growth in the sales of Android OS-based devices in the last two years, and we are looking to further accelerate that momentum with the launch of AndroidLand in India. We believe that this new concept will add value not only to our customers, but also to the entire Android Ecosystem including App Developers and Device manufacturers”
All brands will be sold at Androidland including services and accessories across top international brands like Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG, Lenovo, and local brands like Micromax, XOLO, Karbonn and Spice. The stores are developed and maintained by Spice Global.
