Earlier in month of June, Google announced Google Play prepaid vouchers and now today, Google launched the physical gift card & will be available in retail outlets across India. Google Play Gift card available in 3 denominations (Rs. 750, Rs. 1000 & Rs. 1500) and can also be purchased online from Snapdeal.com as COD shipments.
Saurabh Agarwal, Head of Retail Partnerships – Google Play, India said in an official blog post:
“We hope the increased availability of Google Play Gift Cards will make it easier for users to enjoy your favourite movies, books, magazines, apps, and games across all your devices. Users in India can buy games like Prince of Persia at Rs. 10 or get big discounts on movies like The Great Gatsby or Sherlock Holmes during this promotion ”
Google Play Gift Cards can be used to purchase favorite apps & digital content, in-app goods in your favorite apps & games. As a part of the announcement, Google has put together a range of offers on Google Play Apps, Games, Books & Movies.
Google Play Gift Cards are available in the stores of Spice Hotspot, Vijay Sales, Planet M, Planet Mobile and Sangeetha Mobiles.
