Finally all the rumours and leaks ended as Google announced the much awaited LG Nexus 5X at a starting price tag of $379. it comes in Carbon Black, Quartz White & Ice Blue colours and will be available for pre-order through Google Store in U.S., U.K., Ireland & Japan starting today. The pre-order will ships in October. The 16GB variant costs US $379 while the 32GB variant costs US $429. The LG Nexus 5X is the successor of the LG Nexus 5 which was introduced back in 2013.
On the specifications front, it features 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 processor which is paired with Adreno 416 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 16GB/32GB in-built memory.
On the specifications front, it features 12.3-megapixel rear-camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.

It comes with fingerprint sensor at the back which can be used for making payments using Android pay and locking your device securely. Google is calling it Nexus Imprint, it recognises fingerprint in less than 600 milliseconds and wake your phone & unlock apps too.
