Google has officially released the MyGlass app for iOS devices, the app is now available for iPhone and iPad owners. MyGlass app was previously exclusively available on Android. MyGlass app is designed to work with Google Glass, allows you to configure and manage your Glass device. The MyGlass app for iOS lets you set up and configure Glass from your iOS devices.
Through MyGlass, iPhone owners can add Wi-Fi networks, select which services are active on Glass. The app lets you screencast your Google Glass screen on to your iOS device, use turn-by-turn navigation and manage your contacts and Glassware. It requires a data connection and tethering to use turn-by-turn navigation. Bluetooth pairing lets you make and receive calls. A Personal Hotspot lets you share your device’s data connection.
MyGlass will run on any iOS device running iOS 7 or later. The app is only available on the iPhone but can be installed on the iPad as well, although Google says it’s optimized for the iPhone 5. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPadĀ 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (3rd generation), iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (4th generation), iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular, iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular, and iPad mini with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular. Google MyGlass for iOS is available for free on the App Store.
