Spice Retail Limited has announced that they have partnered with Flipkart to sell flagship smartphone. Only the selected flagship smartphones from Spice will be made available on the e-commerce portal Flipkart. Some of the flagship products will be available starting mid-September and Flipkart is looking forward to sell 100,00 smartphones in the initial days.
According to press release, We will have a dedicated store on Flipkart for Spice products that allow customers to choose from a variety of offerings. Already, Spice has an online shopping portal called Saholic, where they sell their smartphones.
Spice aims to capture 10% market share of the overall online sales for smartphones.
Earlier Motorola, Xiaomi, Oppo and recently some companies such as Karbonn, Asus, Samsung tied with Flipkart to sell their smartphone exclusively. Amazon India recently tied up with Microsoft, Samsung, Lava and other companies for exclusive launches.
