Coolpad has send the media invite for the launch event in New Delhi on August 10, where they will be launching a new selfie-focused smartphone – Coolpad Sky. From the invite, it is quite clear about the company’s plans and invites the media to witness a “mega-selfie”. Reports claims that, it could be laughing the Coolpad Sky 3 smartphone that was recently launched in international markets. The Coolpad Sky 3 is the successor of Coolpad Sky 2 and the highlight of the smartphone is that, it features 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and 83 degree wide-angle lens.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels & has 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by 1.0GHz MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit quad-core processor which is paired with Mali T720 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool UI on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash and 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and 83 degree wide-angle lens. Both cameras come with features like HDR, GIF support and a professional shooting mode.
