Canon India has launched the company’s latest full frame DSLR camera – Canon EOS 5DS and Canon EOS 5DSR in India at a price tag of Rs 2,52,995 & Rs. 2,65,995 respectively. In addition to this, the company also introduced the Canon XC10 4K Professional Video Camera in India at a price tag of Rs.1,70,000. Both the full-frame DSLR and XC10 4K Professional Video Camera will be available at all Canon Image Square.

With these new full frame DSLR, Canon has moved a step further to provide photographers with uncompromising image quality through the newly designed EOS models. Both the models are perfect for commercial, studio, portrait, landscape and architectural photography. The ultra-high resolution of both camera allow large-format printing and extensive cropping capability by maintaining fantastic image quality.
The Canon XC10 4K Professional Video Camera features a compact, lightweight and versatile design for convenient 4K/Full HD video shooting and click beautiful images using 12-megapixel, specifically digital still photography.
Apart from this, Canon also working on expanding retail expansion with heavy investment in Tier 2 & 2 cities, so that they can reach the mark of 200 Canon Image Squares (CIS) by end of 2015.

Canon EOS 5DS And Canon EOS 5DSR
Both are flagship camera and equipped with 50.6-megapixel 35-mm and powered by full frame CMOS sensor processors. The Canon EOS 5DSR comes with cancellation of Optical Low Pass Filter effect, which indirectly helps you to take full advantage of extremely high resolution sensor and capture very fine levels of details & texture. The Canon 5DS features a functional Low Pass Filter, just like other DSLR camera in the Canon lineup. To complement the high resolution sensors, the Canon EOS 5DS and Canon EOS 5DSR comes with a new “Fine Detail” Picture Mode which lets you to configure the sharpness level. This mode is especially important for commercial, product and advertising photography where fine textures of materials.
Just to handle the ultrahigh pixel count, Canon has introduced a new cam-motor driven mirror mechanism which can minimise mirror vibrations that occur and cause image shake.
Both the full frame DSLR feature a brand new 150,000-dot RGB+IR Metering and automatic exposure system. Both are powered by DIGIC 6 image processors, it allows maximum continuous shooting speed of 5.0fps a a full resolution of 50.6-megapixels.
Canon XC10
The Canon XC10 is a 4K professional video camera which features a compact lightweight & versatile design for convenient 4K video shooting and comes with 12-megapixel sensor. It is specifically created to cater the needs of weeding photographer, documentary and small filmmakers, news gathering agencies.
It features a 10X Wide-Angle Zoom Lens with 2X Digital Tele-converter and Optical Image Stabilization. The lens offers a zoom ratio of 27.3-273mm for movies and 24.1-241mm for photos. And the new DIGIC DV5 signal processor that provides the image-processing power and speed to deliver high image quality, performance and innovative new features like the Canon XF-AVC codec for 4K and HD recording.
