ASUS has just confirmed that a VivoTab Note 8 (M80T) Windows tablet is in progress, the company has published an official user e-manual on its own website. The VivoTab Note 8 is a Windows 8.1 tablet and expected to feature a 1,280 x 800 touchscreen powered by an Intel Atom Z3740 quad-core CPU and have 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage.
The VivoTab Note 8 will feature a dedicated stylus, front and rear cameras, microSD slot, ambient light sensor, microphone, speaker/headset port, micro USB 2.0 port and also a dedicated windows button. The Windows button will be located on a side. According to user manual the VivoTab Note 8 will include the stylus pen. The bundled stylus pen allows you to input commands on your VivoTab Note 8. With your stylus pen, you can make selections, draw or sketch on the touch screen panel.
In the 76 page user manual ASUS explains hardware setup with VivoTab, using your VivoTab Note 8, working with Windows 8.1, recovering Windows 8.1, appendices, tips and FAQs.
Now we are just waiting a formal launch with availability and final pricing details. The basic price of VivoTab Note 8 is reportedly $300.
