The latest smartphone from Canonical – Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 Ubuntu Edition launched in India at a price tag of Rs. 11,999 & 13,499 respectively. Both the smartphone available in Black colour and available exclusively on Snapdeal by the end of August. These smartphones are made by Spanish handset maker BQ and originally both the smartphone in Europe back in February & June month.

Both the smartphones has same Scopes available on the European Editions along with the new ones created especially with Indian users in mind. Some of the new Scopes on offer include Tomato, Star Plus, Zee TV, Eros Now, NDTV and Times of India.
On the specifications front, The Aquaris E4.5 features 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels while the Aquaris E5 features 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Both the smartphone are protected by Dragontrail glass protection and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which is paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU & 1GB of RAM. Both the smartphone runs on Ubuntu Touch OS and features 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
The Aquaris E4.5 has 8GB in-built memory while the Aquaris E5 has 16GB in-built memory. On both the smartphone, the in-built memory can be expanded further by using microSD card.
The Aquaris E4.5 features 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash while the Aquaris E5 features 13-megapixel rear-camera with dual LED flash.
Both the smartphone has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
The Aquaris E4.5 packs 2150mAh battery while the Aquarius E5 packs 2500mAh battery.
