Apple’s much rumored low-end iPhone could be colorful. There is a lot of talk about that Apple will break it’s black and white color scheme to introduce more color options on the low-end iPhone. A new report claims that the smartphone will be available in multiple colors and will be released before the iPhone 5S.
Topeka Capital analyst Brian White, in an investors note suggesting that the low-cost iPhone, (aka “iPhone Mini),” would come in five different colors. According to White, the four of the five colors will be white, black, pink, and blue. (The iPod touch does come in five different colors).
“Strangely enough and unrelated to the ‘iPhone mini’ with plastic casing, we had a discussion with a tech supply chain company around a ‘lower-priced iPhone 5’ that would be similar in look to the current iPhone 5 but with edges that are more rounded, a slightly thicker body, more color options and at a lower price.” White wrote in his report.
White also believes Apple will introduce the budget iPhone before it launches the iPhone 5S in September.
The WWDC event is coming up in just a few days and it should be all about the new iOS 7, but it would be a big surprise to see a new iPhone. But still we could beleive that the cheaper iPhone is most likeky to be released next week at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
White also believes that the iPhone 6, likely to launch in 2014, will sport a larger screen size than the iPhone 5.
