At this price range it will be a competitor to recently announced Panasonic P81 and Micromax Canvas Knight A350. Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ features a 5-inch full HD display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 440 ppi, powered by 2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6592 Octa-Core processor coupled with Mali-450MP4 GPU and paired with 2GB of RAM and has 16/32GB of internal memory. It sports a 13.0MP rear-camera with LED flash & aperture of f/2.0, the rear-camera is capable of recording 1080p videos and 2MP front-facing camera.
Micromax’s Canvas Knight A350 features a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, and runs on 2GHz MediaTek MTK6592 octa-core chipset with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the imaging front it comes with a higher resolution 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-meagpixel front-facing camera, while the Idol X+ has a 13.1-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.
The Panasonic P81 features a 5.5-inch HD 720p display and is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek true octa-core chipset coupled with a lower 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and is upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat, though the company hasn’t given any timeline of when the update will come.
