Zuk has launched the company’s latest smartphone – ZUK Z1 in China at a price tag of 1799 Yuan (US $284). It comes in White & Grey colours and the registrations for the sale start from August 18th on official website. If you do not know, ZUK ia backed by Lenovo. It is made up of using aircraft-grade aluminium metal frame. The main highlight os the smartphone is the reversible USB 3.0 Type-C port that offers up to 10 times faster data transfer compared to USB 2.0.
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a contrast ratio of 1500:1. It is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ZUI UI on top of it and has 64GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED Flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS, USB 3.0 Type-C.
It packs 4100mAh battery and with 5.3V-2.5A fast charger it takes just 2.5 hours to charge fully.
There is a fingerprint sensor at the home button and the company is calling it U-Touch which can act as a Home button when hard pressed, Back button on touch & double-cliked for multitasking.
