As promised, Xiaomi has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime in India at a pice tag of Rs. 6,999 & Rs. 8,999 respectively. It comes in Dark Grey, Silver & Gold colour. Both the smartphone initially available on Mi.com and Flipkart through open sale. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime will be available starting August 9th 12 Noon onwards and Redmi 3S will be available starting from August 16th.

On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 505 GPU & runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI 7 on top of it. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S comes in 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory while the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime comes in 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording.
It has Hybrid SIM card slot and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS.
It has full metal magnesium alloy unibody design and the Xiaomi Redmi Prime comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back.
It packs 4100mAh battery.
