ZTE has launched the company’s latest smartphone – ZTE Axon at a price tag of US $329.98. It comes in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver and Phthalo Blue colours. Just for your information, ZTE announced the flagship smartphone Axon Pro back in July, the ZTE Axon is the cheaper smartphone when compared. Apart from launching the Axon, ZTE has also launched the ZTE Axon Pro 64GB variant at a price tag of US $ 449.98. The ZTE Axon Pro comes in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver and Phthalo Blue colours. On the specifications front, the ZTE Axon features 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels while the ZTE Axon Pro features 5.5-inch CGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The ZTE Axon powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330 GPU while the ZTE Axon Pro is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor ( 4x 1.5GHz ARM A53 + 4 x 2.0 GHz ARM A57 ) with Adreno 430 GPU. The ZTE Axon has 2GB of RAM & 32GB in-built memory while the ZTE Axon Pro has 4GB of RAM & 32GB/64GB in-built memory. Both the smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
Both these smartphones have a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, a secondary 2-megapixel rear camera for quick auto focus and depth sensing and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
