Xioami has announced the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series – Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 9,999. It comes in Dark Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold colours and it will be available starting from March 9th at 2:00 P.M. on Mi.com and Amazon.in. Later on, it will be available available through other online channels such as Snapdeal & Flipkart and also on offline retail store. This is the third smartphone from Xiaomi that was “Made in India” after the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime and the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime.

On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it has 178-degree viewing angles. It is powered by Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 64-bit processor which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU & runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with MIUI 7 on top of it. It comes in two variant – 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory and 32GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory, the in-built memory can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 16MP rear-camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has Hybrid Dual SIM card slot and comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS.
It packs 4050mAh battery with fast charging and it lets you charge the battery up to 50% in just 1 hour.
It has a metal body and hybrid dual SIM support with 4G on both SIMs. It also comes with fingerprint sensor on the back which can unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds.
